Company overview
CoStore provides storage through shipping containers across German cities Leipzig and Brandenburg an der Havel. Their sites use phone-activated entry gates and 24/7 video monitoring to keep things secure. They work with both private customers storing household items and businesses needing space for materials and equipment, offering flexible online booking with month-to-month contracts.
How has Kinnovis helped your business?
Our aim was to build a fully remotely managed business. So, we needed a reliable management system where we could control multiple sites from our home because we are digital first. We don’t have an office; we are all in the home office.
So we needed reliability. That made it not hard to choose. It was instantly Kinnovis from the first time we saw it.
Is there one feature you like the most?
I think the site view is really nice because as we use containers and the site is developing on the go, we don’t start with a full site. We start with a developing site over time and having a site view available is really great to see which containers and which units are filled, which are still available and also see the progress of the site being filled up first with units and then with the customers first.
It’s really helpful.
How did you find the onboarding experience?
I mean from us, it was Kinnovis from the beginning. So we had an easy start I would say. We had like 40 units available and we started from scratch. We started with Kinnovis. So we don’t have to switch over from something different from Excels or stuff. But yeah, we could start fresh.
And so that was a really, really easy onboarding. We didn’t have any troubles. It was like just using the tool from time to time and then you get into all the, yeah, all the features and all the systematics behind. And so it’s a really easy user experience and nothing you have to work out yourself.
Who do you think would benefit from using Kinnovis?
I think everyone who is still working manually in his self-storage or operates the self-storage facilities manually with Excel & Co, it’s an easy switch. There’s no big barrier in there.
